INTERVENTIONAL NEURORADIOLOGY




Theoretical and practical courses for Interventional Neuroradiology trainees under the aegis of the French Society of Neuroradiology (SFNR)


Objective


The aim of the Teaching Course of Interventional Neuroradiology is to propose a theoretical and practical teaching for Interventional Neuroradiology trainees.

 

The lectures proposed cover all the intracranial and spinal vascular diseases, superficial vascular malformations and percutaneous techniques for spine lesions.

 

All the lectures are in French language


The educational purpose of the course is to teach :

  • Bases on percutaneous cementoplasty and the main indications of this technique
  • Cerebro-spinal vascular and spine anatomical bases
  • Clinical features, anatomy and classifications of the different vascular malformations
  • Critical analysis of the data of the literature
  • Securty rules to avoid procedure-related complications
  • Strategy for the treatment of these vascular lesions
  • Technological advances that improve the effectiveness and saffety of endovascular procedures
